Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox will return to perform in Syracuse just in time to get you into the holiday spirit.
“A Very Postmodern Christmas” will come to The Palace Theatre at 7 p.m. on November 12. This is the second time the band has performed at the venue after packing the house in January 2018.
Ticket prices range from $35 to $95 and are on sale now via Ticketfly.
Founded in 2011 by pianist and arranger Scott Bradlee, the ensemble takes modern pop/rock songs and repurposes them as jazzy, piano-plinking tunes from a bygone era. Previously, the Syracuse audience was treated to song covers like Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive,” Smash Mouth’s “All Star,” and “Straight Up” by Paula Abdul.
If you just can’t wait to hear those Christmas classics, “A Very Postmodern Christmas” album is available on the band’s website.
